Wairakei Geothermal Field, Taupo, New ZealandWairakei Geothermal field is a 25km area on the Taupo Volcanic Zone in New Zealand. The field has supplied flash steam from geothermal water to Wairakei Power Station(132MW) since 1958, Pohipi Power Station (50MW) since 2006 and Te Mihi Power Station (166MW) since 2014.
